Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) Certification

Course Outline:

Hydrogen Sulphide Certification is designed as a safety awareness program to familiarize participants with the dangers associated with working in an H2S environment. The class is appropriate for entry level through supervisory level employees. The course is required for all employees who have the potential to be exposed to H2S in excess of the Threshold Limit Value - Time Weighted Average (TLV-TWA) (10ppm for 8 hours).

Course materials include student handouts and a final examination. Delivery is accomplished through lecture, hands-on demonstration of monitors and detectors, student participation and practice, video tape, overheads, and student exercise for putting on and taking off the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (S.C.B.A.)

One (1) Year (Annual refresher training required)
